Base location(s) and area(s) where services are provided I am based in Pittsford, New York (suburb of Rochester, New York). Most of my consulting work is in and around the Rochester-Syracuse area, and I also consult nationally.

Description of the services as a supervisor, mentor, and/or training site As a consulting supervisor, the process begins with learninng about the individual's current interests and expertise in consulting psychology. The next step is to define how the consulting psychologist wants to develop his/her consulting skills. A plan is then presented to show how that skill set can be achieved, both in terms of content to be learned as well as the learning process itself. Unless the individual lives in the greater Upstate New York area, it is assumed the supervision would be done telephonically, supported by email. I have found that this method works well in the mentorship and development of executives, executive teams, as well as consulting psychologists.
Formal degrees attained Doctorate in Psychology
Description of how consulting related experience was gained I have been consulting since 1989. My early professional experiences were developed being mentored by another consulting psychologist. Since opening my own consulting practice (The Solutions Group) in 1991, I have consulted to over 120 businesses and organizations, across a variety of fields (manufacturing, health care, food services, etc). My academic background includes having a doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Maryland (1986). Additionally, I have coursework in I/O psychology from University of Maryland. I am a New York State licensed psychologist since 1989.
